Having 33+ years of experience in the field of teaching, currently Dr. Guruprasad Nagraj is working as Dean Academics and Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering here @ Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.
He is graduate and post-graduate in Computer Science and Engineering and completed his PhD in the field of Operations Research.

To his credit he has more than 100 publications at National and International level and also authored six books.
He has produced three PhD and currently guiding two faculty members.

He is a certified tutor for Programming in C, DATA STRUCTURES, UNIX OPERATING SYSTEM and JAVA and was a Corporate consultant for firms like: WIPRO, TATA INFOTECH, Deutsche Software, Novell, Mascot Systems, IBM and ADAMYA Technocrats.
Senior & Life Member of professional societies like ISTE, CSI, IETE, ORSI and International Association of Engineers.

Dr. Guruprasad was Honoured as Excellence in Academic Leadership and Administration in the 9th Higher Education Innovation and Technology Summit and Awards 2025.
